My name is Jessica Vail. I absolutely LOVE ART!!! I love it so much I went to Colorado Mesa University for Art History and Bronze Casting. I received a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts. After college, I began my career at Gaston Design for two and a half years. There we made replicas of dinosaur bones. Pretty cool, huh? During that time I was also the art teacher at Creative Avenues which is an activities center for older kids as well as a preschool.
During college, I had the privilege of learning how to work with plaster, bronze, steel, iron, aluminum, copper, clay, resin, Photoshop, Illustrator, acrylic and oil paints, and drawing with charcoal. I also learned about the history of art from different eras, cultures, and art styles. In high school, I went to Western Colorado Community College for Graphic Design.
All growing up I tried to make as many things as I could from whatever I could find around the house. I then put that creativity into 4-H where I was able to make lots of things and get ribbons and trophies for them. It was pretty cool!
I love 3D Art such as sculptures and casting. Family is also very important to me and I have the privilege to use the artistic skills and passion God has blessed me and share it to others to bless them and their families.
