Fun and Exciting Faber Primer Piano Program, Ages 5-7
The Faber Primer Piano Lesson and Writing Books we offer here at EverLove Studios in Grand Junction, take young children, ages 5-7 or 8, depending on when they start, on a magical journey where they acquire the piano skills, keyboard awareness, and rhythmic understanding needed for a successful future at the piano.
I love this set of books because your child will learn all of the basic piano fundamentals that they need to get started in music. This curriculum moves slowly and is very detailed with lots of repetition, which is important in music. This is perhaps the most important set of books they will ever learn from and will give them a good solid foundation. Your child can move as quickly or as slowly as they need to. This program will also help them to know if they really want to continue learning piano.
Each book is either 8 or 10 units long with 30 minute lessons.
They will also be working on repertoire for the events they will perform in throughout the year.
If your child excels in this program and they need more music to work on, I carry all kinds of exciting and adventurous songs they can play. Supplemental books are available for $8.00 each. Sheet music is FREE.
What your child will receive when they come to their piano lessons here at EverLove Studios in Grand Junction:
- Student Book, full of music and learning activities
- Games that enhance piano skills and techniques, (we provide a piano at the studio or they can bring their own keyboard),
- FREE Fun Teaching Printables that you and your child can do together
EXTRAS:
- I use other instruments to help with beat and rhythm
- I use encouraging rewards to help your child be confident in their piano repertoire.
**Students ARE required to participate in at least 2 of the performing events throughout the year!**

PRIMER Piano, Book 1
Your child will learn the following:
1. Gain an understanding of the keyboard
2. Read rhythmic notation and develop aural awareness
3. Explore correct piano posture and hand shape
4. Learn the alphabet for piano
5. Identify notes on treble and bass staves and so much more...
Tuition and Materials:
Lessons are 30 minutes long - You receive Lesson Book A + Writing Book A along with Free Teaching Printables
This Primer book has 10 units at $20.00 per lesson. You pay a one time, up front $10.00 fee for the lesson and writing books.
There are 4 ways to pay for lessons:
- Make weekly payments of $20.00 per lesson.
- Make monthly payments of $80.00 (4 weeks x $20.00)
- Make quarterly payments (this is based on the number of weeks for each quarter)
- Make semester payments (this is based on the number of weeks for each semester)
Supplemental Books are $8.00. Supplemental Pieces are FREE.
If you have more than 1 child in my studio, you will receive a 10% Family Discount
Payments
Payments at my studio can be paid in weekly payments or in full with Cash, Check, Credit or Debit Card. I use Square for credit/debit card payments. Make checks payable to EverLove Studios. You do not need to pay until the 1st day of your lesson.

Pick the month, day and time you want to start your lessons on the registration form. We meet once a week and your lessons will go until the book is complete. If the day and time you pick is filled then we will let you know. Have a second day and time in mind.

Primer Piano, Book 2
Your child will learn the following:
1. Continue an exploration of the keyboard
2. Build hand strength and coordination
3. Identify notes on the grand staff using guide notes
4. Explore stepping and skipping notes
5. Begin to acquire confidence playing "out of position" and so much more...
Tuition and Materials:
Lessons are 30 minutes long - You receive Lesson Book B + Writing Book Book B along with Free Teaching Printables
This Primer book has 8 units at $20.00 per lesson. You pay a one time, up front $10.00 fee for the lesson and writing books.
There are 4 ways to pay for lessons:
