Welcome - Teen Piano Accelerated Program, grand junction
Exciting Teen Piano Program, Ages 12-18
There are two choices in the teen program.
CHOICE #1 - BEGINNER STUDENT
The teen accelerated program here in Grand Junction is for the older beginner that covers all the fundamentals of piano playing that will build their piano skills through discovery, creativity and adventure.
Once your teen has completed Level 1, then they will move on to Level 2. You can also inquire about other advanced books in these series or our other supplemental books or pieces I offer as well.
I include notation cards, solfege, and other tools to build skill.
Each book is 12 weeks long with 30 minute lessons.
If your child excels in their music lessons and they need more music to work on, I carry all kinds of exciting and adventurous songs they can play. These books are available for $8.00 each.
What your teen will receive when they come to their music lesson:
- Student Book
- FREE Fun Teaching Printables that you and your child can do together
EXTRAS:
- I use other instruments to help with beat and rhythm
- Supplemental Pieces to choose from
- I use encouraging rewards to help your teen be confident in their piano repertoire.
CHOICE #2 - ADVANCED PROGRAM
If you child has completed all 5 levels of the Faber curriculum OR the Faber teen levels 1-2, then they will move into my advanced program.
In this program, I put together a musical path for the student that fits their desires in music. They might include, advanced techniques and scales, genres and styles that they enjoy, music that forces them outside of their comfort zone, advanced rhythm and tempo, play by ear, in depth composition, the history of music, singing, exploring other instruments, duets, etc.
**Students ARE required to perform at the Spring Recital!**

Book 1 covers:
- Fundamental rhythms
- All the notes of the grand staff
- C position, G position.
Tuition and Materials
Tuition + Lesson Book along with FREE Teaching Printables and Supplemental Pieces, 12 week lessons, 30 minutes long - $20.00 per lesson.
There are 3 ways to pay:
- Make 12 easy weekly payments of $20.00 per lesson.
- Make monthly payments of $80.00.
- Pay the 12 weeks in full for $240.00
Any additional Supplemental Books are $8.00 per book.
If you have more than 1 child in my studio, you will receive a 10% Family Discount

You teen will go on to learning the following:
- Major and Minor Pentascales
- Intervals through the 6th
- Writing
- Sightreading
- Ear Training
- Creating Artistic Sounds
- and much more...
